2003 mazda protege fuse keeps blowing

I have a slight problem with my car it recently started to blow a fuse that gets my DRLs to not function and my Dash Lights as well. About two months and a half ago I bought a new DVD Receiver and installed it myself had no trouble and have some experience in installing radios, have installed a few already in this car to begin with. About three weeks ago a fuse blew and I replaced it and it blew immediately I have an aftermarket alarm installed in it as well (this was installed professionally) it blew a fuse as well and now neither the alarm or the DRL's are working. The fuse on the alarm that blew was the one that has the Lights turn on when it goes off I wonder if the alarm is the faulty one or if it's maybe the radio I need help.

SOURCE: 2000 Mazda Protege LX AC starts cold, blows "vapor", then warms

Sure take your buddy with you when you go so he can drive you away while they fix it but you do the talking with your buddy standing by ready to leave. Yes low on freon condensate drain stopped up fan belt loose or needes replaced. This is an old car and the mechanics will likly find many things wrong with it make sure they know that you what them to run it awile after it's fixed so that it in with some gas in the tank so they won't worry about running out. Should get alot of repairs done for less than $200

Ignition fuse keep blowing

it sounds like either the wires or module inside the distibutor take the cap off and see if you see anyting melted or any kind of bare wires you can also ohm out the wires checking the resistance that can tell you if you have and open or shorted circuit .a new or used distibutor should fix your problem

Is there a blower motor relay or fuse on a 1995 Mazda Protege lx?

That fuse sounds like it powers the ac compressor.
The blower motor usually takes a 30 amp fuse.
Does the blower motor work if you hook it to direct voltage ?

My fuses keep popping any ideas?

You have not supplied sufficient information so here is one possibility.

If you replace a fuse you must use one that is the correct amperage for the circuit.

Check your owner's manual for the correct amperage fuse for the circuit concerned and make doubly sure the correct one is installed.

If it is the correct amperage for the circuit please supply more information on the problem including which fuse keeps blowing:

1. Is the fuse popping immediately you replace it in the fuse panel and switch power to the circuit or only after a period of time of operating the vehicle? For example, if it is a lighting fuse, does the new fuse blow immediately you switch on the light concerned?

2. What is the function on the vehicle that has the power cut when the fuse blows?

3. Has there been any work carried out on any part of the electrical system or on electrical components of your vehicle prior to this problem arising? If so what was done?

Intermittant no start..

Did they check the wiring in the ECM wiring loom? The car's computer would have a separate wiring and have a lot of them inside compared to the rest of the car. This happened to me once and had the car ECM rewired because of it.
