2000 volvo s40. I had no dash lights and could not find any problems so I replaced the cluster. This did not fix the problem. Do you have any ideas as to what to check?

Sounds like your ignition cylinder failed, it'll have to be replaced, luckily you can just replace the cylinder and you don't have to replace the keys and pay for reprogramming the ignition.
i have s40 1999 volvo interior lights and stereo was not working but dash lights and headlightswhere fine, also i had car with cross on dash bottom rhs in orange on. replaced 10 amp fuse in main fuse box under the hood rhs. it is located in triple fuse holder. it seems hard to pry of but flat bladed screwdriver new fuse all lights working and orange warning light gone.
the shock sensor is mounted under the dash and is sometimes part of alarm box or separate unit, look for module under the dash and trace wires, it separate box it is often tie wrapped of a set screw, box it 1x1 to 2x2 box usually 3 wires, often attached to steering column or metal strut
I had the same problem just replaced 10amp fuse in main box rhs under hood. the fuse is located in multifuse holder yellow pry of gently replace fuse and it worked.
If you are talking about the blower motor fan, inside the car, look for a blown fuse,or a bad fan relay. The blower motor relay could be mounted near the blower motor,or in the relay box, look for the lables to guide you to it.If the relay, and the fan are fine, then replace the blower motor.
no, just remove under covers to gain acess to rear of lamp ,this is where you can replace the bulb no need to remove bumper, thats just crazy anyway hope this helps good luck.
Sounds like the instrument cluster has gone
bad or a bulb in the cluster has burnt out. You will need to remove the cluster and
check the bulbs to see if they need to be replaced.
Did you test all the parts befor fitting ? Faulty parts would need to be replaced , have you wired the lights independently ? If so it shouldn't affect the CCM.
