TOYOTA ALTEZZA 3S-GE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR IS READING 01.2 OHMS WITH A DIGITAL MULTIMETER.IS THE SENSOR OK OR BAD?

Reading the impedance of the sensor means nothing, you must monitor the signal with a scan tool.

I changed the sensor and the harness and still has the code any thoughts

when a sensor code is set off this does not mean the sensor is bad. you did not list what sensor it is, what vehicle it is, and what the code is reading. if it is a o2 sensors code for instance. sure this could mean a bad o2 sensor or it could mean the o2 sensor is reading that the exhaust has too much oxygen in the exhaust thus the engine is running lean witch means you are not getting enough fuel or touch air. could also mean you have an exhaust leak or bad catalytic converters. need more info.

P0154 Trouble Code on my 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport. Where exactly is the bad 02 sensor? There are four of them and I don't know which one is the Bank 2 #1 sensor.

Bank 2 is the side of the engine with cylinder number 2, and sensor one is the sensor in front of the catalytic converter.
Please know that the code does not mean the sensor is bad, only that the reading the computer is getting is constantly lower than .3 volts.
The sensor could be faulty, or there could be a problem with the fuel injectors or the wiring harness to the sensor.
When the sensor is working correctly, the reading should switch back and forth between .3 and 1.0 volts.

P0113 fault code at smog check

IAT (intake air temperature) sensor out of range.
It means that the ECU is reading low resistance. It could mean that you have a bad IAT Sensor, a bad ECU (Probably not), or an open (short) in the positive or ground.

Get a voltmeter. Unplug the IAT from the connector and hook the voltmeter to the positive and negative of the IAT sensor. Turn the key to the ON position (DO NOT turn the engine on). And measure voltage. It should be close to 5volts.

If you get close to 5 volts - Sensor is bad.
If you get 0 volts - Short in positive or ground wire.
If you get over 5 volts - Bad resistor in ECU

97 Ford Fairlane Fault Code 52

Hello, What this means is the Bank2 O2 sensor is getting a high reading in its heater circuit. This can mean the wiring to the O2 sensor on Bank2 has rubbed through or the O2 sensor is bad.

To explain, the O2 Sensors have a heating element built into them to make the controls work faster on Startup. Your sensor on Bank2 spot1 is heating way too much. Either the sensor is bad or the wires to it have rubbed through and are touching metal. You need to inspect the wires to the O2 sensor or replace the sensor.

2003 intrepid code p0068

Good Morning,

Sorry for your problem, But i am here to help

Here is what the sensor normally means, It's a map/tps sensor correlation code, essentially it means the map sensor reading isn't what's expected with the tps reading and vice versa! It sounds like your tps sensor is probably bad or the circuit to one of those 2 sensors.

I hope this helps. Thanks Mike

O2 sensors keep failing and a evap leak code i put new gas cap did not cgehan [email protected]

Are you sure it's 02 sensors? Just because code says 02 sensors doesn't necessarily mean they're bad. Bad 02 sensor code can also indicate bad cat. converter. If 02 sensors read exact same reading before and after converter they will trigger OBC to "sensor fault" - they should be reading 2 different readings. (Pre CAT/POST cat) I'd suggest replacing cat converter before replacing sensors.

My kia was running rough so i took it to auto zone and they put it on the computer and it said the bank one sensor so i changed it out and it still running rough

just because the sensor is out of range does not mean it is bad, its just reading improper combustion , your problem probably means you have a bad plug or wire, and so the o2 sensor is reading rich

CAMSHAFT SENSOR

when you unplug the cam sensor it runs?what that mean is that most likely your sensor is bad..reason for that is when your cam sensor is out you unplug it...it will run because it forces the computer to get a reading/signal from the crankshaft sensor or somewhere else like that..and when you plug it in it is getting a bad reading from the cam sensor wich will cause it not to run..so my advise is your cam sensor is bad..
