I got a P2198 & P2197 code for my 2006 Ford Escape

If you mean the check engine light, the codes must be cleared with a scanner or code reader after repairs are made.

300 & 316 just misfires forget them

Diagnose & replace all bad COP Ignition Coils --- problem gone

Replace front oxygen sensors on all your vehicles at 100,000 miles
That is required preventative maintenance, unless you don't care about
fuel trim & throttle response

I didn't go into details with the codes-- too much too type

I doubt you can work on it

You went a week with no problem

The front (2) O2 Sensors ,if you have two &
dual exhaust ,get replace at 100,000 miles or
now, that you have an OBD dash light on.

A map sensor code doesnt mean the sensor is bad. it means the computer didnt like the info coming from the sensor. so what is the code now?

02 sensor signal stuck lean bank 1, sensor 1
p2197
o2 sensor signal stuck lean bank 2, sensor1

i beleave this will be the sensor before the catalytic converter
