U either have the wrong belt or it is routed wrong or the belt is not fully seated in the grooves of the pulleys.

Need the spec on installing a tension pully for a 2003 ford taurus

Not sure what spec your looking for. I replaced the tensioner pully on my F-150 302 last year though. And basically the bolt is left hand thread and turning the bolt gives the slack in belt needed to take belt off, and put back on. Hope this helps.

Install ac belt--how to ajust tension pully

What engine?

It should have an automatic tensioner for the serpentine belt. If the tensioner does not automatically rotate and take up the slack in the belt than it is bad and needs to be replaced.

How do i adjust the timing belt on a 94 honda accord?

you should not have to adjust the timeing belt unless you are installing it. if you are installing it. I rotate the crank to take out the slack, and put the slack on the tensioner side. loosen the tensioner pull and pull it up tight with your hand and release it allowing the spring to keep the tension while you tighten the tensioner pully bolt.
If they ar too tight they make a high pitch groan heard easiest when reving up the engine. If the are too loose they may skip time. not good.

Installation of new serpentine belt on 2002 Chevy Cavalier

Use a 3/8" socket end to rotate the tensioner counter clockwise. It may seem stiff, but that's a good thing... you want the tension to be there. After it's off the tensioner the belt will pretty much just come out of place and off the other pulleys. ***make sure you orientate the belt as it was originally (ac or w/ ac)...diagram should be on the front shroud.

Installing accessory belt on 94 Buick P/Ave ultra.

You must press on tensioner to make room for new belt. The tensioner then re-traps and keep belt tension when new belt in on. So in other words you have to put belt over all othe pulley leaving tensioner for last using a 3/8 ratchet with out a socket (just the square end) in the hole thats in the tensioner pushdown/up to make room for belt to slide on. If the belt seems short make sure that it is routed the correct way. Good Luck get back to me if you need more help and leave me a "rating". Thanks
