1996 Plymoth Voyager chugs when cold

There is not a drain for the gas tank in your vehicle. Very few if any fuel tanks have a drain in them.

This is a wiring problem. I have an intermitten issue with the gauge. I have checked the connections at the junction box and BCM, but it did not cause any changes. One I have not checked but hope fixes it is a "cold" solder joint on the panel PCB. I have read other issues with it, so it may be the same.
I suggest you check there first also.

Look under the hood on drivers side, down near lower part of engine where it meets transmission/transaxle and it should be mounted on top of transaxle/transmission.

check the firing order..and may you have a defective sparkplugs and high tension wires or air leak

did you try the crank position sensor?

try air flow meter

if u were low on gas i would look towards fuel pump check for fuel pressure and check engine for spark

There could be several reasons, here's a list of the most common things it could be.

1. check the timing
2. idle speed is to high
3. incorrect spark plug heat range
4. intake air vacuum leak
5. valves sticking
6. leaky fuel injectors
