Put key in ignition, turn forward two clicks (to on). Leave for 10 minutes. Then turn key off, then try to start. Did it reset the security?

If you want to disable the security, entirely bypass it and never worry again about passkey and all its problems, there is a firm that sells a module , easily installed, cost is $190 (vs. about $1000 for the dealer to work on and replace expensive parts in the passkey system). The module mimics the passkey system in signals to the computer, allowing the start circuit and ignition circuit to not be interrupted by passkey. The firm is at newrockies.com.
