My door locks, power windows, and window locks quit working. It is not the fuses, must be something before fuse, what is it?

I was searching for a hot wire in the fuse panel on the side of my dashboard. My meter shorted out and started getting hot. One of the wires I checked was previously hot, now isn't hot. The fuses are good to the windows, door locks, window locks, but they don't have power getting to the fuses.

You have a problem with the master control module.

The dealer will need to scan the module to see what has gone wrong. The module is called the "BCM"

What year, make and model do you have?

Testimonial: "I don't know if that is the problem, but sounds like it could be. If the BCM was the problem, would it affect more than just what is affected?"

Look at the end of the dash and between the drivers side door for a second fuse panel. I think everything you mention works on one data bus. You can remove the button pad on the drivers door. Since it gets used all th3 time i# might have gone bad messing up the works.

Driver side power window quit

1st, check the correct fuse which goes to those components. Usually, the fuse box has each fuse clearly labelled as to its function. Next, would be to check the motor which cranks the window, to see if it's getting power or malfunctioning. The same with the selenoid which actuates the lock. You'll have to take off the door panelling to see and reach the window motor and lock selenoid.

1995 Camry - power windows and power locks quit working. I'm guessing a fuse but can't find any information in the manual.

One nice thing about Toyota is they tell you what fuses are what on the fuse boxes. There is one under the hood and one under the dash. There should be a window fuse or lock fuse/door fuse something along those lines.

My power window interior door lights quit lighting up could the bulbs be blown

If the power window itself still work fine, and the illumination on the driver's side door lock still work, then the LEDs behind the switch are the issue ( usually bad solder joints ).
If you are talking about all doors other than the driver's side, do you have the window lock on ? The lights on the switch turn off when the driver's side window lock is enabled.

2005 colorado pulled fuse for power locks, to stop automatic locks. drivers window and door locks quit working. reinstalled fuse but didn"t start working again.????. fuse is ok drivers window and locks...

This is a common problem, there is either a pinched wire in the harness that is in the door jam or your fuse block is shot, there is a gm service bulletin out on this, I would call your local dealership to find out if it is covered.

2000 Buick LeSabre where power locks, seats, windows quit working

If all power devices stopped at the same time you may have a bad fuse link. Since it is rare for all the fuses blowing at once and you already checked them. Start at your fuse links before assuming something expensive.
