I have a 93 deville i do not hear any fan noise, defroster works a little on passanger side not on drivers side, air does not work what could be the problem

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT



  1. Negative battery cable.
  2. Rear engine sight shield.
  3. Center bolt and positive battery cable from multi-use relay and fuse bracket.
  4. Underhood fuse blocks and relays from bracket and position aside.
  5. Nuts attaching multi-use relay and fuse bracket to front of dash and move aside.
  6. Electrical connector from blower control module.
  7. Screws attaching blower control module to blower module assembly.
  8. Blower control module from vehicle.

check the blower motor resistor. mounted on the passanger side under the dash.its mounted right on the heater box with two screws. the last one i worked on the plug had melted and needed replacement. the replacement should be inexpensive

Little air coming out the vents

is the fan motor working at full speed
check for blocked cabin air filter
the vacuum only works the vent controls and as you can feel the changes of the vents , it is not vacuum

Heater/air conditioner

check to make sure you fan is working it is usuallt either on the firewall on the passanger side under the hood. it will have a cover over it with a hose going in it. if that is not kicking on than you need to replace the fan.
