Just going off the little info you have given I am going to take a guess at ur problem. Without more detailed explanation of the symptoms a better evaluation isn't possible. Now there are quite a few things that could cause a rough idle. The problem that I have seen more often than not causing this would be the carb. or in your case the throttle body or more precisely the MAF (mass air flow)sensor or possibly the MAP (mass air pressure) sensor. they sit a top the engine along the path the engine sucks air in through. Some are in the throttle body and some b4. Not sure on ur vehicle though. Most cars only have either an MAF or MAP but most of the time not both but it does happen so chk that also. Hope that helps

sorry about the little info. yes she seems to sputter a bit when she is idling, but it isnt a rough idle, it idles good for few minutes, then u can hear it choke a bit then back to idling good. happens every few minutes. we are also having a problem with the tc and the engine light on on the dashboard. i am assuming they are working together ( there might be something with my traction problems, so engine light is showing problem) but im not sure.
