Someone needs to check for voltage at the coil and the distributor.
The pickup coil in the distributor tells the coil when to fire.
If you are getting spark at the coil tower but not at the plugs, check the cap and rotor.

Does the 90 model still have the resistor and rotor button under the distributor cap? Have you checked for that?

check distributor module, oreilly can check these for free. also maybe plugs, wires, cap, rotor.. if this isnt it maybe the pickup coil went bad which would usually be easier to buy a new distributor instead of taking apart distributor, if you have to replace distributor i would check junk yard prices on something older like that you can probably get parts for pretty cheap

get a 20 dollar haynes or chiltons manuel and find the module and coil. always change the ignition module and coil every 4 no more than -5 years to be safe.

ck fuses and relays ?

Could be a module or the pickup inside the distributor.
You get the module tested at most auto part stores to check the pickup you need a voltmeter(ohmeter) and attach to pins while someone is cranking car (with distributor cap and rotor off) and see if you get voltage.If none that is the problem.

replace the distributer cap,rotor button,and if that doesnt work its the pickup coil inside the distributer
