Losing coolant in my 2000 gmc sierra

Losing coolant...dont see any leaks???

  • Anonymous Nov 11, 2011

any steam or excess moisture coming out of the exhaust ?
Any white or creamy appearance to the oil (pull the dipstick_)
If so, warped head or failed head gasket could allow coolant
    to pass thru the engine.

These motors are famous for the intake manifolds leaking coolant.Have a pressure test put on the coolant system and look for a leak around the intake manifold corners.Check all four corners i've fixed many of these.

Leak of antifreeze

This leak is probably coming from one of the 2 coolant lines that feed and return coolant from the heater core. It best be that you get it repaired before you lose to much coolant.
