The 2.7 L is a chain driven DOHC engine. No belt. Chain should last the life of the engine.
The 2.7 also has a "bad reputation" for going bad - but this is in almost all cases due to the oil change intervals. Change oil every 5,000 miles and sludge won't build up. Don't change the oil and about 15,000 to 25,000 miles later, <boom> bye bye engine.
Not sure where the water pump is. Never had to replace one yet.

I have a concorde 2000 3.2 it overheated and melted a whole in resivour tank

Over heating is serious and needs a factory trained technician to research the problem. A FIRE could break out and injur you and your passengers.

2000 chrysler concorde lxi 3.2l started with timing belt unaligned

Or worse, if it has bent valves, so yes do check compression. That is an interference engine design.

Need to replace a serpentine belt on a 2000 Chrysler Concorde, 3.2 engine. Any suggestions?

Uhmmmm. suggestions for what??? usually there is a diagram on the hood or the vehicle that shows where the belt has to go. you follow that picture. as for removing/installing the new belt, you will have to use a breaker bar or long handled wratched to slack off the tensioner. the 3/8" wratchet head will fit into a slot on the tensioner bracket (usually) and you just GENTLY pull on it to release the tension to get the belt on. hope this helps, good luck

I replaced the waterpump and now the engine just cranks but wont start what could i have done to caused this to happen

Hello marcogurrola: My name is Roger ans I can help but need to know what size motor is in you car. 2.7 or 3.4 size engine. Both have the water pump driven by the timing belt. Most likely the engine is out of time. This happens a lot. If you need the timing mark locations I will be glad to send them. Please rate the answer you received. Should you need further help please just ask. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

I have a 2000 chrysler concorde that the engine light just popped on - the error codes are po302, po420, po340

P0302-cylinder #2 misfire detected
P0420- catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 1
P0340-No cam signal at PCM.
The Cam sensor most likely needs to be replaced first. Clear the codes after that and drive and see what comes back on.

Can i put a 3.2 engine in place of a 2.7 in my 2000 concorde?

It can be done.
You will need another car, the same year as yours, with the engine you want. This is to get all the hose, belts and brackets you will need.
If you hire it done, plan on $2-3,000.00.
There are sites on the internet with the detailed description on how to do it.
