Try reseting the fuel shut off switch. It's in the back passenger side. Remove the access hole cover. Reach up in there. You will feel somthing in there. Feel for the top of the thing on there. Depress the button. It should stay down after you push it.
When you start your car. Don't press the accelerator peddle. Allow your car to start using its electronic fuel injection.

1994 FORD TAURUS

Do you smell gasoline fuel ?? When there's too much fuel, it saturates the spark plugs, preventing ignition. Let it sit for an hour to let spark plugs dry, then it starts OK later. Next time, turn starter without giving any throttle or very small throttle as engine turns. Myself, when my 2006 Dodge Plymouth minivan (sitting in storage) needs to start, I squirt (half second) starting fluid into air filter, close the air filter housing to trap flammable gas from starting fluid, then turn the engine without pressing on throttle. When the engine starts is when I give it a little throttle to bring up the RPM to 2,000 until it idles on its own without stalling from cold engine.

Car will not start fual pump shut off swich is

ok so now check for spark by removing a spark plug wire and sticking a srcew driver into it and then putting it next to metal on engine but not touching have some one crank it over and watch the screw driver for spark. sounds like one of the two crucial elements is missing you have gas and now you need spark to run.

My 1994 Ford Taurus wont start. Have checked the battery and it is ok. Can someone help me out i Think it is the starter but not sure.

You need to supply more information. Does the engine crank but won't start or does it not crank at all. If it cranks and wont start the problem is either no fuel or no ignition. Check to see if you have fuel pressure at the fuel rail service port. If you don't you may need a new electric fuel pump. If you do have fuel pressure see if you have ignition at one of the spark plugs. If you do then you have to see if the fuel injectors are working. If you don't have spark you need to find out why. At this point you need to be a fair auto tech. or turn the job over to one because it is going to need some special diagnostic test made with special test equipment.

1992 Ford Taurus wagon not starting, but turns over

You might have a problem with your crank sensor or ignition. Remove spark plug wire and check for spark while turning engine over. When this happens unplug crank sensor near crank pulley then plug back in to see if it starts if so replace crank sensor.
