Hi
my golf is very hard to start in the morning recently. . when hot it is one crank and it goes, but cold start needs several cranking up. In the mornings or after few hours when the engine is cold i have noticed an air bubble as long as 3/4 inch in the see through pipe diesel pipe running between the fuel filter campartment and the engine. Is this normal. i havent changed the glow plugs yet .Any ideas please.?
best rgds

hi got the problem sorted. well kind of
found out that no juice was getting to the glow plugs. fuses were fine as well. the earth from the glow plug switch didn't work. the switch is above the gas pedal it is number 130 printed on it. i got a wire from its earth put a switch button on it and connected the other end to car body for earth. in mornings just press and hold the button for 2 second and the car starts with first crank
