The PWR warning light is on,what does this mean

OBD2 fault codes have no cut and dry fix for every car that has it in memory. Here is the general info on the code. This code refers to the EGR valve back pressure sensor called the "DPFE" sensor
P1401 - DPFE Circuit High Input
Symptoms - Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) Possible causes

DPF EGR circuit open.

VREF short to PWR.

Damaged DPF EGR sensor.

DPFEGR circuit short to PWR.

SIG RTN circuit open.

Damaged PCM.

Possible solution A DPF EGR PID reading greater than 4.5 volts with the key ON and engine OFF or running indicates a hard fault.

I assume you mean the "ect power " light. This means the trans computer will hold each gear a little longer before changing down. It is turned on and off by a button on the console

VSC = Vehicle Stability Control, its possible that you have any wheel sensors problem.

This light usually indicates that you have selected the power option for your transmission shift pattern(normal or pwr)

There is a button on the center console or the shifter that selects pwr or normal trany shifting, if pressing the button again does not change the light than the button or wiring may be defective and require further diagnosing

There's a switch on the dash I believe that controls the transmition settings there's normal, hold and power. You are obviously on the power setting, adjust the switch to the middle and the light will go out.

if the light is stuck on, you may need to replace the switch

PWR means the transmission is set to not change gears as fast for hauling loads

there should be a switch that says power/econ the light means you have it set for power ,find the button and push it and it will read econ, it is usually a green button on the center console.this changes the shift characteristics of your vehicle.

needs a alternator have it check at a shop

ECT is you engine coolant temperature. i suggest you have you ect sensor inspected.

First, have you checked the fuses?....Most likely cause of the problems..... I don't believe that there culd be any other linkage between the work carried out and the faults which your vehicle has......Second thing for me to find out from you....Is the vehicle fitted with an encoded key, the EWS anti theft unit? If it is, this may be a job for the service centre.

If you disconnect the battery with this system, the key code may be lost, which will mean re-coding, and that can only be done at the service centre....Without that you may never start the engine again....

Try the fuses first,
