SOURCE: passenger side mirror

If you need to replace the entire mirror - it's a little involved. First you need to take the upper extension panel off from behind the mirror (black triangle) - just pull it of starting at the top. It will snap back on later. Next - remove the different screws holding the door panel in place (not the ones behind the mirror yet!) One is under the handle (pull it out and pull out the filler panel - small plastic thing that has a hole to pry it out). Then take off the rear red light - also pops off - and remove that screw. Finally - pick up the rubber filler where your fingers pull the door shut and remove these torx bolts.

Now is the tricky part. Snapp off the entire interior panel. It will pop off - but very difficult. It will sound like it is breaking! Start at the outer bottom corner - and use a door panel remover tool - check Amazon or E-bay - to keep from breaking things. Pull it out from all around the bottom and sides and then lift it up over the door lock. It good to have a friend help here. The panel will still be held on by a cable - that is your door release - leave it alone and let the panel hang by it (or better, put a box under it to rest on).

Now...remove the three bolts holding the mirror on - have a friend help hold the mirror while you do this or it will scratch your new car! Since the inner panel is off - you can also disonnect the mirror plus and remove it. It sounds silly - but the only reason to remove the door panel is to unplug it!

Get you new mirror and reverse the steps.

If you are just replacing the glass (non-heated) - get a replacement from the dealer. Adjust the mirror all the way to the inside and reach behind and pop it off. CAREFUL - put tape over the entire glass as it will likely break even more! Remove your connectors if heated - and replace (and reconnect) with your new glass. It just pops back on!

Replacing glass is easy - just be careful of cheap imitations on e-abay). And never use cheap flat glass on the passenger side! The DOT has special requirements for mirror glass - buy it from gmpartsdirect.com or your local dealer.

SOURCE: Hummer H2 rear wiper and sprayer came on by itself

It sounds like the wiper control module. The wipers on my 2003 did the same thing. After I pulled the fuse for the rear wiper, the front wipers started acting up as well. I had to pull fuses to stop them too. There is a recall on 2003 H2's for this issue. The cover of the wiper module on 2003s for the allows rain/water to get into the module. The cover will be replaced for free, however, in my case since the module was full of water and my wipers were not working, they replaced the module for free also. Not sure how much it would cost to replace on a 2005.

SOURCE: 2004 Hummer H2 leaking water on passenger floor

never worked on a hummer but rule of the day is that there always is a drain on the firewall on the engine side. usually a small rubber hose about two inches long direced downward. Usually you can stick your finger in there and clear it out. Don't shove anything hard into it or you can punch a hole in the evaporator core.

SOURCE: Hummer H2 Power folding mirror won't fold

The power folding function of your exterior mirrors on your '04 H2 depends on a plastic gear to collapse those mirrors at the touch of a button. That plastic gear strips very easily. The service adviser at our Hummer dealership said that problem was rectified in later model years with a redesign of of the collapsing mechanism of those mirrors.

I don't mind manually folding our mirrors, and I was afraid to ask about the cost of the parts required to solve the issue. The service guy didn't volunteer the cost of the fix. Not typically covered by aftermarket extended service/warranty plans.

SOURCE: Replacing side mirror on 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

Is the rear brake adjustment lever the same on the RH as The LH

In the grand scheme of things when it comes to rear drums brakes on cars, in theory the drivers side and passenger side should be nearly identical, except they are a mirror image of each other, as in the drivers side is backwards or a mirror image of the passenger side.
I hope this helps

Where is the blend door actuator located on 03 Hummer h2. Driver side blows cold, passenger side blows hot

They are not vac on the h2. there is 2 for temp control, one for recirc and one for blend. check the hummer forum as there is a great read for it there. the driver side actuator is really ez as it's under the glovebox, 20 min fix. the rest take removing the whole dash but it's not that tough.

Changed the rear Brakes in my 1992 Ford F-150 2 wheel drive Pickup. On the passenger side rear with the adjuster all the way in, the drum was still difficult to put back on. Put it on anyway and went for a...

Pull both drums and VERY CAREFULLY compare the left and right side, check all the hardware and return springs, position of the shoes, etc. (You know that the left and right are mirror images of each other, as you look at each assembly, think "front vs. rear" not "right vs. left"
Are the shoes pulled tight against the adjuster and the top post? Check to see that the shoes are resting on the backing plates at the correct points, especially near the bottom.
Make sure the shoes are the correct size and have the same mounting points as the old shoes.

Something is wrong. While you may not feel it sticking or grabbing, the excessive heat will cause trouble, including possibly causing the outer wheel bearing to fail.

You must get this fixed, if you cannot resolve the problem, take it to someone who can. Do not ignore this and hope it will correct itself. It won't.

2002 Ford Explorer - Drivers side door lock, rear

Aside from the fuses, your drive side power door lock may be failing to work because of a bad door-lock relay system, or, alternatively, the locking switch/button, itself, is not malfunctioning and in need of replacement.

A great handyman site that specifies the above probable causes and more is the following link:
