To get to the bulb you would need to take the whole light assembly out. There are I think 5 screws holding the entire assembly and wiring and that should be it.

You need to have PCM / ECM - engine computer checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes an go from there ! there are hundreds of codes these newer vehicles can set ! I hope these people who changed the sensors an catalytic converter checked codes first ! You never ever just replace parts !!!!!!!! A DTC will lead in a diagnostic direction ! The electric window could either be the fuse,switch, or window regulator motor at fault..Sometimes the window motor electric plug can vibrate loose or become loose from door slamming..Also the switch can become loose as well or contamination if you are lucky..You will have to remove door panel to inspect these components..and fuse panel..The light could be a faulty bulb..Check and replace bulb..before involving the signal indicator switch lever...If bulb is at fault go ahead and change bulbs at both rear sides..Do not try to repair signal switch because of air bag..If you can hold down on the turn signal switch and it works the switch is at fault...
The bulbs are removed from the back of the lens housing. Some can be reached from under the hood, others need to have the lens assembly removed from the front.
Try replacing ALL directionals for the side that is not working properly. That fast blink in the back usually means bad bulb, but could also mean bad relay.
Can you elaborate? You say emergency flashers work, but FR directional does not. Does the bulb-in-question light when the E-flashers are going?
That is correct. You need to steer the front wheels all the way in one direction so you can remove the wheelwell fasteners. There are push fasteners and screws with a 7mm head on the front edge. Remove enough of then that you can pull the fender liner back enough to reach your hand in to where the headlight sockets are. Twist and remove them and you can replace the bulbs.
To change the bulbs all you have to do is put a flat blade screw driver
on the right side of the bulb housing and gently push to the left (towards the driver's side). This
will release the catch holding it in and it will drop out and down on
the end of its wiring connector. Twist the bulb counter clockwise to release it. Replace
the bulb and just put the housing back into the opening left side
first, then just push up on the right side till you hear a click.
