More than likely the lift gate motor has failed.

run the fault codes and look for problem cam or crank position sensor could be a problem engine mount that is being started by a misfire

as it an automatic and one of the sensor for the cruise control is the VSS then I would be suspecting that there is a problem in the overdrive of the transmission -could be harness connections , TCM cruises control need these items to operate brake witch to be operational-- touching the brakes cancels the cruise control VSS to be operational , --reports the speed of the vehicle so that the cruise controlled speed can be maintained tachometer to be operational --- will shut the cc of if there is a speed limiter involved gear position switch to be operational ECM to be operational if any one item has a break in circuit , the cruise control will turn off could be as simple as a bad ground connection for the ground wire from the battery

I think if you found a wrecked donor car with the feature you could get all the parts and wiring to swap it. this would not be cheap or easy but certainly possible

Have the codes read. Check the brake fluid level. Wouldn't surprise me if low brake fluid doesn't kill the engine know days.

The clue is the Check Engine Light (CEL). Get the ECU read for the error code(s). The Cruise light turns on when the ECU detect any error. It may be as simple as a gas cap that is not tight enough.

Front, about 23mm, rear, 11mm. Be aware that machining rotors is a short term solution. It's more cost effective (ie labour) to replace with new rotors and pads.

I assume you mean the bumper cover. There's a set of two-piece plastic clips along the top of the bumper. Pry the center section out then the outer piece can be removed. There's more clips along the bottom LH and RH sides. And, there's an M6 bolt in the top of wheel arch end of the cover. You should then be able to remove the cover. The bolts to remove the bumper internal are now accessible.

Squealing noises are either * a worn or loose belt. replace the belt. * an A/C belt idler bearing. Replace belt and idler. * alternator bearing: replace the alternator. * timing belt idler bearing(s). Replace the timing belt and all bearings (there's a full kit for this).
