Neighbor's 2004 Jaguar trunk got jammed/locked from hitting lock and open buttons simultaneously on remote. Remote and key does not work to open.

You may need to remove the back seats and try reaching in with a long rod/bar, and unlatch it.

I HAVE BOUGHT A JAGUAR 2.5 AND PAID A 300 DEPOSIT WITH PAYPAL ONLY TO FIND THE CAR FAULTY,COULD I GET A REFUND ON MY DEPOSIT BACK TO PAY FOR THE REPAIR.

If you only paid him 300 pounds, even if you had to apply another 408 - 708 is a pretty good deal for a 2004 jag. To answer your question, contact paypal and see what they will do. Why did you have a car repaired that you want to get a refund on??

WHERE ARE CAMSHAFT SENSORS LOCATED

if you have a fault code relating to camshaft position sensors logged if i remember correctly it needs the powertrain control module reprogramming to rectify the problem, or high resistance spark plugs can log this fault code for some strange reason, i presume it is a 3.0 ltr v6, the cam sensors are very reliable normally. the wiring to them is not, on the v6 there are 2 sensors one on the rear of each cylinder head, on the v8 there is one on the front of each cam cover, hope this helps.

What can I do if my key won't turn in the ignition switch of my 2004 jaguar s type?

if its the correct key for your car and its not working try a spare if you have one. check the condition of the teeth on the key it maybe worn out or bent. it could also be the key tumbler that is worn and needs replacing. does your key chain weigh a lot that is more than the weight of say just 4 keys if so this may have caused the tumblers to were out.

When im stopped edcar jerks foward as if i was hit from behind

The following are the general instructions on the start of diagnosing any electronically controlled engine or transmission problem.

The engine and the automatic transmission (transmission control is only for automatics, engine is still computer controlled no matter the transmission type) in this vehicle are computer controlled and in most cases when a fault occurs a fault code is stored in the memory of the computer control module. There are exception to this, such as the Mass Airflow Meter and fuel pressure problems. What must be done is to have all the basic testing done such as a scan of the system for fault codes as well as a check with a live data scanner tool for engine functions that are not within range of normal, a trained technician is required to know what is correct and what isn't, then based on careful diagnostics done from a factory repair manual the correct part is replaced or the wiring repaired or the computer replaced (known as the PCM or ECM,ECU), which is very rarely the problem. Other basic checks must be done as well such as mechanical problems with the engine as well as engine state of tune and mileage on the engine. The transmission can have mechanical issues as well such as no gear engagement at all or a failed pump or other pressure related problems. Also engine mechanical problems can and do cause many drive-ability related problem such as rough idle and other symptoms.

5300 storage

A high rev generally means you have an intake leak some where try to listen for a hissing sound to locate your leak. If you cant find it I usually try spraying brake cleaner in and around the top of the engine till I hear a difference in the engine while its running.

I have a 2004 Jag s type w/ 45k miles. Last night I got all the system lights and "transmission fault, parkbrake fault and dsc not available." Got home, turned it off, restarted after 1 minute, restar

First thing to do is get the battery checked and replaced if necessary. If the problem continues, it will be necessary to have a pro-shop check the fault codes (go to a Jag specialst, not a dealer)
