the answer is here
- The Manufacturer decided to not produce this vehicle with self-programming capabilities.
- You must get an Automotive Locksmith to program the remote to your vehicle for you.
- If your vehicle requires professional programming we tell you, so you're not left with any doubt and searching all over the internet.
- It's still much cheaper to purchase a remote from NorthCoast Keyless and get it programmed by a Locksmith rather than buying from a Dealership!
- We strongly recommend calling a Local Auto Locksmith for help here.

Hi
On my 2004 S type
I have stopped those annoying squeaks by hosing down every rubber bushing I could find using silicone spray.
Way cheaper than having the bushings replaced, unless the bushings are chunked out and dry, then maybe they need replacing.
Electric parking brake shows warning when operated
when you replaced the pads did you make sure that the sliders were free if they are partially siezed it gives the the signal to the parkbrake module that the movement is excesive , but also at your model/year there was a prob with the parkbrake motor going bad or the wiring to it chaffed on the rear subframe try to get the fault codes out of the parkbrake module using a obd2 code reader that may have the clue to recalibrate the parkbrake disconnect the battery for 10 mins reconnect apply footbrake with ign. on and work parkbrake on/off 3or4 times
Why is it swaying sideways a lot?
Check for loose or worn suspension components. My XJ8 became unstable when a rear tie rod became worn. To check jack up rear wheels. If you can rock either of them left and right that might be your problem.
2004 ele parking brake not pulling up to m.o.t s type jaguar
i presume you mean the electronic parking brake does not meet the minimum effort for mot test, first check the rear calipers and pads, the caliper sliders seize and/or the pads seize in the caliper frame, check the discs also for bad corrosion, is the park brake warning showing on the dash? if so check the wiring above the rear subframe its prone to chaffing and grounding out, the park brake motors are also troublesome, sounds like a pad/ caliper problem more than likely seized sliders easy job to free off, hope this is helpfull to you.
WHERE ARE CAMSHAFT SENSORS LOCATED
if you have a fault code relating to camshaft position sensors logged if i remember correctly it needs the powertrain control module reprogramming to rectify the problem, or high resistance spark plugs can log this fault code for some strange reason, i presume it is a 3.0 ltr v6, the cam sensors are very reliable normally. the wiring to them is not, on the v6 there are 2 sensors one on the rear of each cylinder head, on the v8 there is one on the front of each cam cover, hope this helps.
Disable lojack and or remove
Lojack can be placed anywhere in the vehicle, different installers have a different preferences. You can contact LoJack and they should be able to help in removing it. 1-800-456-5225 is there phone number
What can I do if my key won't turn in the ignition switch of my 2004 jaguar s type?
if its the correct key for your car and its not working try a spare if you have one. check the condition of the teeth on the key it maybe worn out or bent. it could also be the key tumbler that is worn and needs replacing. does your key chain weigh a lot that is more than the weight of say just 4 keys if so this may have caused the tumblers to were out.
