My drivers side window will
No the window regulator is not going bad in most cases, but to make a final determination of what the cause is, answer this, does the window make any attempt to roll up? if not then the switch is defective, if it does try to move lubricate the window channel's with dry Graphite spray and see if that eases the roll up problem.
Rear wiper works 3 times
does the rear wiper have a delay..?
turn it on and after it stops, leave it for at least a minute.
Some of these vehicles also have a moisture sensor so if the window is dry, the wiper will not operate until the sensor detects moisture.
You may also have a timing relay issue but the location of the relay is hard to determine as some have the relay under the dash while others mount it at the rear of the vehicle..
What is right tire air
There should be a sticker inside the drivers door that will tell you the correct tire pressure for your vehicle, if not then a good rule of thumb is to read the max pressure rating on the sidewall of the tire and decrease it by 4-6 psi.
What is the recommended tire
40 psi sounds high. For actual recs check sticker on drivers door. These factory recs are a compromise between comfort and safe handling. For winter driving some people "up" the inflation for better traction in snow, etc.. Check the side of the tire for MAX psi (it's stamped from Tire mfg) You can use the tire mfg.'s 'max" rating safely. Over inflation will cause tires to run on just center treads.
When i went to change
I don't know what he means by spreading. If your engine was out of oil, it had to either leak out, burn up, or somebody drained it. Was your engine making a lot of noise and running hot? I can't imagine the engine being run without oil for more than a few minutes before it would seize up from lack of lubrication. Didn't your oil light or a check engine light come on to let you know that the oil level was low? If the engine is still running, and doesn't have the rods knocking, go ahead and put fresh oil and filter in it and see what happens. Keep me posted. This is interesting.
My 2008 Infinity fx35 has
What you need is more info, Does it do it only when its hot? In the morning or after a trip.
Maybe start a log. You need to find out what you are lacking when it hard to start i.e. fuel or spark.
One of the first things that came to my mind however is the fuel pressure regulator in the fuel rail return line is leaking down. Lee
Yellow warning light explanation point
Not sure of your vehicle, but...(and this will be in your manual) sounds like a tire pressure monitor, get all of your tires set correctly and it should go away after a short drive. (These are a requirement after 2007)
My dad's FX35 has an
Yes you can fill the reservoir with water.
You can use Peak Coolant. It has lifetime warrant.
When I put the reverse,
If the car doesnot go into reverse you have more then likely a stretched or disconnected shift cable, please check it especially at the transmission side cover. If the cable/linkage is fine the transmission may have to be further examined for a posible reverse band condition, they do wear over time, how many miles do you have on the vehicle?
How does it shift into forward gears any problems? If the forward shifts are fine chances are its a reverse band issue which requires a major transmission repair depending on what is found on the journey to the reverse band condition.
I am getting a very loud rythmic grinding from
both parts will be cheap from brake pads to wheel bearing if need to replace. 50 bucks for sets of brake pad and wheel bearing will be 27 bucks. rear grinding could be your brake pads are worned and rubbing against the rotor. you can do the work your self and don't need a shop as long you have the right tools. if its the wheel bearing than its going to be other task, which still can perform the work at home. Big 1/2 inch sockets sets with box and open end wrench will come in handy. if it the rear end it will be best to take it to professional to have the work done.
