This may be indicative of a fuel-injection problem, and can be cured by a sharp mechanic.

But often it means a failed catalytic converter.

open the front passenger door-look at the dash from the side-there's a button you press and then the fuse box door will drop down under the glove box

Hi, The Silver Spur engine you have fitted should be of a V-8 configuration, Four cylinders on one side and four on the other. Rolls Royce calls these banks of cylinders; A bank and B bank respectively. So which one is which? well A bank is one inch further forward than B bank due to the way the connecting rods join the crankshaft. Each Bank of cylinders are numbered 1 to 4, so A bank is A1, A2, A3 and A4 and B Bank is B1, B2, B3 and B4. Cylinder A1 (the one at the front of the engine), is the first to fire, so time the engine to the firing point of this cylinder to time your ignition. After that the Cylinders will fire in this order:- A1, B1, A4, B4, B2, A3, B3, A2. Hope this helps, Rgs. Bob

So you want to make you car less secure ? .....have the system checked by a RR dealership and corrected. There is no simple way to by-pass the anti theft and a continuing fault may drain the battery over night.

Open the trunk and remove the long bar. American car owners mistakenly refer to this as a tire lug wrench, but all of us RR owners know this is the preferred tool for dash dis-memberment. Just insert and pry.SIR, I apologize. Forgive my levity. I don't know if their is even a repair manual available to the public for this car. Bezels can be fastened with screws. On ordinary cars, cheap plastic clips retain the bezel in place. I doubt your car has any cheap plastic anywhere.

will your car start if you put ignition key in run postion and then put remote power to the starter to crank engine? If it will you probably have an issue with the electrical portion of your ignition switch. Check to see if you have power to the high voltage side of your starter relays. If not check for a bad fuse. If so check to see if low side powers up when key is turned. If so it means you are gettintg current from the switch. So keep checking for power all the way to the starter. If not check and replace the ignition switch.

Verify that there is no power going to the starter solenoid with a multimeter. If no power is found, look at your neutral safety/inhibitor switch. This is a switch on the left side of the transmission that will interupt the starter signal to ensure that the gear selector is in fact in park.
