my volvo s80 t6 air conditioning not working well and often cause over heating. why?

I have 99 grnd am,too much money to fix,I put HEAD GASKET FIX $32.00 is OK,no leak no problem,car runs WELL.

parts tore can say for sure but its usually in pints..4 pints to a quart..so 16 pints is 4 qts most take 6 qts or 24 pints..just to give you an idea..put 2/3rd of it in and start the car fill to level according to the stick.

Coolant have colour just for this same thing so that you can see where it is leaking. I use green colour coolant which is most common and when I need to find a very minor leak (major ones are visible as green crystalline deposits) normally I use UV light. Under UV light the coolant shows florescence.Other things to check in such cases are:Radiator cap and Coolant valve which often get choked and do not open resulting in over heating of engine.

mean low coolant.try find out where leaking ,if engine could be gasket,now is stuff head gasket fix is good I try OK.

you have a short somewhere it kills the battery after sitting all night make sure no lights are staying on for example you glove box light if it doesnt shut all the way light could stay on and you dont even no it.

you have probably got enough of the mix inside your engine. you need to pull ALL of your spark plugs and then crank it over. If that changes nothing, then im not sure. If it does turn over then crank for about 10 seconds and then re install plugs and start the car. I DO NOT recomend putting anything inside your cooling system!!!!!! Get the problem fixed right and avoid the head and heart aches of the mix that comes later. They are only temporary fixes if even that.

unscrew the hook and keep it in the car incase it has to be towed again. There is a place in the car for the hook, I don't know where but it is in owners manual

most likely the clock spring is not the problem because when u push the button the dash light cruise comes on.wich means that you do not have an open circuit.with a light tester check to see if you are getting power to the cruise control servo.if you are then replace it.if no power you will need a new cruise control stick on the steering column.
