The things that hold it up the springs ain't locking in place

This is how you do it make sure the trip has the odometer showing, not the Trip A or B. 
Reset the system by the following procedure: 
1. Turn the ignition key to the “LOCK” position with the 
odometer reading shown. 
2. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position while holding down the “ODO/TRIP” button. Hold down the button for at least 5 seconds. The odometer indicates “000000” and the light goes off. If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing. 

I have used this in every RX330 i have ever done. will not work if trip a or b is showing though

Did you check the brake fluid level? A low level might cause the light to come on.
If it's 1997 or newer, and then likely OBD2, take it to a local autozone or similar parts store. Most should scan and clear codes for free, hoping you will then buy parts from them.

Possibly the handle, used to position the seat, has internally "stripped out". Take the handle off and inspect the inside splines. If stripped, replace the handle.

Stuck thermostat,water pump,plug radiator.

It is defective. No reset is possible.

Cooling fans are most likely not coming on. I believe that vehicle has two fans..side by side, one closer to passenger side is ac fan..should come on when you cut ac on. I would check coolant level some sensors will not read temp correctly unless submerged in coolant...fans should kick on when car reaches somewhere around 185 to 205....should be a plastic fuse box under hood that houses fan relay...also should be identical relays that run headlights or something else..you can swap relaysaround to see if the relay has gone bad. If fans aren't coming on or one of the two is..turn the one not coming on by hand to see if fan motor has frozen up

the discolouring comes from the actual lighting , can not be cleaned , may have had the wrong type of bulbs fitted at some stage as should be UV free, have to change lights if its causing a problem , go online as much cheaper

Try disconnecting the battery for a minute and reintall it if it doesnt come back you probably gonna have to change that clock

Your fuel injector or injectors are leaking. The leaky gasoline floods the engine and makes it hard to restart.

Should have stated " make sure all options switches are off and ensure "always" at the bottom is NOT checked.
