check fan fuses and relays. is the idiot light coming on . stop engin temp. if its coming on unplug it . its located behind the rear valve cover in the middle. if that isnt it replace temp sensor. located below the air breather.

Its going to be tough to diagnose if you can't duplicate the problem on demand.If the throttle position sensor is failing, it won't tell the computer the throttle has opened and the injectors need more on time.But again you won't know if that is the problem unless the problem is happening during the test.

I sort of had this problem with my 92 deville...u could try to pull bak a lil more on the release and push forward after that while someone else is outside the car...the person outside the car should try giving the hood a lil push n if it pops up a bit...the latch under the hood is located to the left side next to the grill.

Devilles use a controller instead of a basic blower resistor. Someone would need to check the blower motor for power and ground, then check the controller mounted in the HVAC box on the firewall.You may need a shop manual to get the wiring diagrams needed to troubleshoot the system.

And while we are going down the list of possible causes, do you know if the radiator fan comes on when the engine reaches 220 degrees ?

U need to ck thru all the fuses both under the hood and in the cabin, take them out and chk them in the sun light. Otherwise it's a wiring fault. Chk connections to the window winder.

if it is just the fuel gauge in the cluster not working i would have the sending unit in the tank tested.

This sounds like you may have a belt come off, the reason for the charge light is due to the alternator not spinning and the same belt operates the power steering. open the hood and see if the belt came off, this can be due to a bad belt that was worn or a pulley broke or froze up. let me know if that is it and i will help you fix it. good day

Yes they can. the shafts on them break all the time.go out and just grab the p/s pulley and pull it forward. if it moves then its broken
