FORD RADIO ON LOCKED 13
if that is not an anti-theft radio... or if it is an you know the code and how to enter it.... unhook the battery for about 15 minutes and then hook it back up again... that should reset it
Reset alarm
I can only suggest one thing that might work.
Disconnect the battery and leave the car overnight. In the morning put the key in the ignition and turn it to the on position and then connect the battery.
If that doesn't work you will need the services of an auto locksmith or the dealer. I hope the price you paid for the car was much reduced because of the missing keychain.

Hi there
A1996 Escort should be a automatic adjustment so there isent any adjustment to do as its only the early ones that had adjustable rods, but look under the car and if you can see a thread on the rod then you can adjust it and the adjustment is 1/8 of a inch or 3MM.
Where can I download free fuse panel diagrams?
before checking for fuse, look inside the right-hand side of the trunk, under the carpet, on the fender wall. there is a cut-off emergency switch there. see if it needs to be pushed in to reset the power to the fuel pump.

Where does the stabbling busch fits on the ford 1996
Do you mean the "Stabiliser bush"?
If so, then most cars have a front stabiliser or antirollbar fitted to the front subframe and attached to the front radius arms by links with bonded rubber bushes in. Some cars have a rear system as well working in the same manner as the front.
The only way to know whats worn, is to run it up on ramps in your drive, get down and dirty, and check the supports and bar ends for a worn bush. If this repair isn't within your skills then farm it out to a good DIY or garage.
Disarm alarm
Get in the car, shut the door, and insert key in ignition.
Turn the key to the RUN position (NOT start, but the position the key is in when the car is running. You DON'T want to start the car).
Turn key off.
Repeat this 10 times quickly (ON, OFF, ON, OFF, etc)
Many alarm systems this is at least one way to reset or over-ride the alarm.
