go to the library and check out an auto repair manual it's free and has your diagram or buy one for your cars make and year at any auto parts store for about $20.00 Haynes is a good manual to buy easy to understand next time draw it out prior to removing it will save you a head ache. Good Luck

Accidently??? That's a good one! Ha-Ha-HaI don't know what to tell you. Hood release cables can be pretty hard to route correctly - and that is when you KNOW HOW to do them. I wish you would have asked BEFORE you had your "accident". I would have told you how to use the old cable to pull the new cable through.The only suggestion I have for you now is to use a bright light under the dash and look on the engine side for the light coming through. You may have to remove things from the kick panel area to find what you are looking for.

I might have a solution to this problem......if you open up your dash where all your gauges are, check to see how the wire harness connections are. If one of the clips on the wire harness is broken, you will not get a proper reading. I had this problem with my oil gauge. I had to change my dash lights at one point, and when i tried to undo all my harness clips i accidentally broke one of my clips for the oil gauge. Right after i put it all back together, my oil gauge went haywire. It could be as simple as replacing a simple harness clip. Its worth a shot:)

check to see if engine needs a tune up. take the plugs out one by one..how do they look? what about the dist cap, is it corroded inside or showing black track marks? are the plugs wires burned? these things will give you an inside look on how your engine is performing.be here till 330am if you need help. thanks
