2006 Chevy Trailblazer with both driver side and passenger side heated seats and all electrical seat adjustments stopped working all at one time. What may be the cause of this?

You have a power seat circuit breaker in rear fuse box, that circuit is hot all the time. The orange wire carries voltage to seat adjuster switch. You need to check ground for adjuster switch, also. If circuit breaker is overheating it will cause an open circuit.

the factory dvd decks are designed to disable the dash display when the car is running, to negate distracted driving. the factory wires the rear seat dvd displays only to work when car is running, and the dash to work only when the car is either acc, or, possibly, in park. if the dash is intermittent, and, especially, if the dash display has some dvd video while running(or, more dangerously, when in drive) then a previous owner likely tried to bypass this safety feature by crossing wires under the dash, and did a poor job. otherwise, lcd screens can become intermittent, in regards to powering on or off, if the backlighting regulating circuits start to fail. this would be an issue with the deck itself, and is merely due to old age (nearly 8 years) . the hallmark of this problem would be if you were to hold a flashlight to the screen, and see a faint display,- simply lacking the florescent back-lighting.

Fuel guage on my 2006 chevy trailblazer stopped

possible fuel gauge malfunction but its a chevy.

over the past year chevrolet fuel pump failure has increased by over 900% the fuel level sending unit is incorperated in the fuel pump module,

these fuel pumps do not like fuel additives nor do they tolerate E85 fuels.

you will need to replace your fuel pump assembly, try to locate a carter brand pump they are very reliable.

as far as replacement.
just open the fuel filler door remove the two torx screws and one push pin from the fuel filler neck, go under the truck at the back of the bed on the frame cross bar and unplug the bed plug, remove the 8 bolts that attatche the bed to the frame and the one ground wire under the bed by the fuel filler neck. get a budy and lift the bed off of the frame, now you can access the top of the fuel tank for the pump replacement. dont get discouraged it is a easy fix, i can do these in under an hour.

What would cause the idle to jump up and down upon starting the vehicle?

Sounds like you've done everything but the injectors. Run a bottle of fuel injector cleaner in a tank full of gas every time you do an oil change after this time. Also, check the fuel pressure to see if it's where should be for the injectors. But then, if it has enough pressure to go through the dirty injectors to make it run, pressure should be good. Check it anyway.

Whining humming noise under hood

If the engine is not reaching optimum operating temperature it will indeed give you a "check engine light",the code will lean you in that direction as well. The noise your hearing more than likely is coming from the "clutch fan",they are very common on the TrailBlazers to make noise and fail. The oil light... you certainly need to have the oil pressure checked with a mechanical gage.

One of my third row seat does not fold down but the other one does. Could it be locked or jammed?

The seats shouldn't lock, its probably bound up. If you don't want to spend big bucks at the dealership, you might stop by a local automotive uphostery shop. Those guys work with seats every day.
