We have a 1992 GMC 3500 Dually, 4X4, Aut

I am sorry but we do not have wiring diagrams here at fixya. They are copy protected. You can however buy access to the factory manuals here for a small fee.

1992 gmc wont start. new starter, new battery. just clicks

I had an 84 silverado & a 91 sonoma with the same problems. It was a ground wire. Make sure all body, & frame wires are Attatched, tight & clean of rust & corrosion, no frawed wires. Also make sure battery terminals are clean & tight. Good luck.

I have a 1992 gmc sierra, the cruise control still doesnt work after replacing the box and switch, is there a seperate fuse or trans relay?

The brake light switch can prevent the cruise from working. On the cars there is a 5amp cruise fuse so I would think there is one for trucks too.You may have to get a shop manual to get the diagrams to check the circuits and have a test procedure.

My 92 sierra cuts off while driving.ive installed new rotor, cap, plugs, wires, fuel pump, and there is gas sprayin in the throttle body.i dont think its a gas issue but some kinda spark issue??

HelloThe Engine and Automatic Transmission (not applicable to manual transmissions) in this vehicles drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM and TCM (Power Train Control Module, Transmission Control Module). When a problem like this or other drive-ability related problems occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. Also always check fuel pressure for correct spec for your make and engine type.

My 1192 gmc sierra idles correctly with the map sensor unplugged

did you clean the port before you replaced the iac valve, and measure the pntle before putting it back in, whenyou buy a new iac valve you can't assume the pintle(needle) is correctly placed. the pintle shldnt exceed 1 1/8 inch past the body seat, it can be pshed in by hand, then after it's pu t back in cycle ignition on for 10 second (do not start) then turn ign off for atleast 10 seconds, this allows the iac valve to reset. then start engine.

My 1992 gmc sonoma truck shakes and pulls to the right , why?

Check your tires...if they are several years old they may have belt separation inside of them. Lift each tire up, let all the air out and if they appear warped looking then they are bad. replace with new tire.

Difficult to start, when it does it runs good, turn it off and it will not restart for at least 15 min trying all the time

Yes among other things. You'll have to figure out if it is a fuel or ignition problem. Is the check engine light on ? Have you checked for trouble codes ?It could be a relay, the ignition module, coil, fuel pump, or a list of other things.
