Left side door lock on 1993 gmc suburban

You are well on your way to fixing this. I hope you will be successful. You may very well have to remove the whole window assembly from the door to get to the lock. I have had to. Remember just exactly how you did it, in what sequence, so you can put it back together. It took me many, many hours to fix this. Be thankful the person who jammed the screwdriver did not steal your truck, as that was the intention. God bless your efforts.

When cold my '93 suburban dies but once warm runs fine it has a 454 with tbi

Have you checked to be sure the idle air control is working properly and also the engine temp control sw. The iac only comes on to maintain the idle when the engine is cold. The ect sw monitors the outside temp and tells the computer how much fuel to put to the engine. Hope this helps.

Lost low beams non DRL , have changed switches is there and where did they hide the relay

Most cars use an auto-reset relay, not a fuse for headlights. Check wiring.... Run a new wire from switch to headlights as a test.

Why are my rear lights are not working on my 93 GMC Suburban? All other lights work. I am unable to drive at night as I can only be seen if I apply the brakes. Which is the fuse for these lights or w

If front running lights work, I would crawl under rear and find light wires and use a test lamp to find the hot wire with only running lights on, then trace that wire to find the break. If front running lights are not working, check all fuses, then check headlamp switch.

Is it a carb problem if I have to spray ether in carb for car to fire. Doesn't always stay running if I do. Carb or fuel line?

Probably fuel pressure issue. Check for leaks, dirty filter, low fuel pressure could indicate bad fuel pump. Normally, a float would cause flooding, but a clogged jet could cause a lean / no start issue. Try some gumout fuel cleaner and a gumout spray clean of the carb and linkages before you get to far into a part issue.

How can we get a 1993 suburban sle won't come out of 4 high?

The actuator is a common problem on these models. It is located on the front axle housing. Test it for power. If it has power pull it off and see if it works, if not, clean it or replace it. Use caution when removing the bolts. Very common problem.

1993 gmc suburban rough idle, stall in reverse

Idle air control (IAC) control rpm idle during idle. Test it on idle with ALL electrical on full force. RPM should increase. If RPM remain the same then IAC is question.
