Fault code p1336. Both cam/crank sensors have been replaced. Fault code still present. Could it be that computer has not reset yet?

There are two possibilities...
  1. The crankshaft and camshaft sensors are not properly synchronized to each other. This is a procedure that must be performed with special tools.
  2. A bad alternator diode can cause this code to set due to voltage ripple. Have the alternator/charging system tested.

If both cam/crank position sensors have ONLY been unbolted and replaced with new sensors, do they require synchronization?

Sensors do not need to be recalibrated , the ecm should have the codes cleared . Then turn the ignition system on with data reader hooked up to see if sensors repaired the fault code.

Replaced cam/crank position sensor with no change in rough running engine. Syncronizer has not been replaced. Do I need a tool to syncronize both sensors? It's not been rebuilt or jumped time.

position sensors have little to do with rough running engine items like bad injectors, problem ignition control module, fuel pressure , HT leads valves, vacuum leaks all contribute to rough running best run the fault codes first to determine what area to look at and fix the reported faults

Where can I get a diagram of the intake manifold runner control?

Do a Web search under the terms (Your make, model, year vehicle) intake manifold runner. Or intake runner control solenoids, rods, etc. You may find Youtube videos. The runners are sandwiched under or inside the intake manifold. Some had plastic clips which crumbled and the operating rods became disconnected. Some runners stuck too bad for the rods to move them.

try tapping the wiper motor, with it turned on, with a hammer if it starts the motor is worn and needs replacing. you can try attaching a separate ground wire to the wiper motor if it runs then the motor has lost its ground and you can run it this way.

I have a 2003 Mustang that the wipers stopped working on. I have replaced the motor, switch, relay's and checked all wiring and fuses and I still have no wipers and I am unable to find the rig

You may have a bad wire or it could be in your wiper switch on your steering column. Have you tested to see if you are getting power at the motor?
