as in its a stock sterio with anti theift protection... when you disconected the battery the sterio will not turn on intel you pull in out to get the number off of the side and the vin number from behind the widsheild, theres a couple other steps but if you want the easy fix take it in to the deal ship and pay them $50 to do it for you.

There is a rear control module and a rear data processor for the blower motor and the blend doors. Your probably going to need a shop manual to have the test procedures for those circuits.One orange wire goes to the module from a 10amp fuse in the box in the engine compartment, the other orange wire goes to the module from a 30amp fuse in the same box. There is a third orange wire between the front HVAC control panel and the rear module.

I'm skeptical that such a noise would be from inside the wheel, but to check switch your front and rear on that side, or just use the spare on LR for a day or so and see if clicking goes away. From your description, it will probably be hard to spot visually. A mechanic may have to listen to it, or look into it.Good luck.

check fuse for lighter , check that the ignition is on in accessories as some units will not work without the ignition being in this position. check the heater coil in the lighter Ash and particulate in there burns the elelment out sililar to a coil on a electric stove

Need a code reader to reset or take into a shop and have them reset.

Most likely a bad connection or bad connector try wiggling it and see if it comes back to life if so use a small pick or awl to close the pin in the connector shell a little and reseat the connector
