White smoke when starting
When this happens it could be a number of things, all of which are going to be relatively expensive to repair. There is the possibility that the fuel injection system needs to be cleaned and you can remedy this by adding MARVEL MYSTERY OIL, or SEAFOAM to you fuel system, and to the engine crankcase. FOLLOW THE RECOMMENDATIONS BY THE MANUFACTURER. If that does not resolve the issue, then you could be looking at bad valve guides. Having a head job performed at a local mechanic shop would remedy this issue. If it is smoking all of the time, it could be a head gasket issue. (If you are having to add coolant on a regular basis, that would indicate a head gasket issue.) IF IT IS NOT THE HEAD GASKET , then there is one thing to keep in mind before making this repair, keep in mind that although it would be better if it didn't smoke at start up, that this issue will not debilitate the vehicle, and cause serious harm to the engine. IF IT IS THE HEAD GASKET, YOU NEED TO MAKE THE NECESSARY REPAIRSI hope that you have found this information to be useful, and if I can be of any further assistance, please let me know.
