How do I reset the
Hi Dave.
The proper way to reset the DTC is using an OBDII scanner. Go to the nearest Autozone, ask to do a code scanning and to reset codes.
You can also reset the codes at home but you will need a scanner like this:
OBDII Scanner - U480. Here an example showing how to use a scanner tool to reset the codes. You can also try disconnecting the battery. That will reset the engine check light until the problem occurs again. It may not clear stored diagnostic codes. Make sure that you have the stereo anti theft code if needed.

Abs & brake warning lights
{: ) Check first if your brake fluid is low. Better top it up at maximum level. Look also for possible brake fluid leaks. It can also be a fluid sensor or wheel speed sensors at fault. If the warning lights persist, I suggest a scan tool vehicle check to effectively pinpoint the main cause of the warning light issue.
I replaced brake pads on a 2004 astrovan. in doing
The ones connected to the bracket that spin DO NOT come out, they're part of the bracket. If you notice on those, they have a small notch on them to insert the appropriate wrench so it wont spin on you when re tightening the caliper bolts. So yes, that's absolutely normal. There in normally two bolts that hold the caliper. remove those and the caliper comes out and you can replace the brakes, now if you need to remove the rotor, then you need to remove two other bolts that are for the caliper bracket,.
