Locating starter motor bolts

Remove the air filter with the MAF sensor and intake duct... Look behind the hoses which are crossing the transmission case... They are difficult to see and touch at first. The hoses are held in by a bracket so you really can't move them. The starter has two bolts, the bolts will be placed at about 12 o'clock and 2 o'clock if you looking straight down at the top of the ****** from the driver side. You'll need at least a 3" extension and a deep well socket (14mm if I'm not mistaken)... Unbolt the starter and it will drop a couple of inches... Jack the car up, place a jack stand and pull it out from underneath by the flex pipe. The re-install is allot of fun!... Hope this helped if the job hasn't been done yet. Good luck

The engine seems to have oil, but the light is on

The oil light means you have low oil pressure but not necessarily low oil.
Low oil pressure can lead to serious engine problems and should be fixed right away.

Suzuki Forenza 2004, check engine

Is the car a V-6? If so, look at the engine from the front, pulley side, bank 1 is on the left, sensor 1 is before the catalytic convertor.
If you are having problems with one O2 sensor, it is a good idea to replace them all if money allows.

MY CAR WILL NOT TURN OVER OR MAKE NO SOUNDS WENT I

1. Does the dash light up? If not its a bad battery2. Bench check the starter. To do this you need to jack up the car securely on jack stands or drive it up on ramps, making sure to block the back wheels and set the emergency brake, leaving it in park. Crawl under the engine with a light, a socket with extensions and size 10, 12, 14 sockets. I say those three because 90% of the bolts on this car are that size and I can remember which specific one you need ;0) The starter is on the back side of the engine - the side closest to the driver. You will need to unplug the wire harness, move a rubber boot out of the way, and undo a bolt that holds down the positive lead to the starter. Then you need to unbolt the starter from the transmission. You do this from up top. You'll need to remove the air intake pipe that goes to the throttle body, then look for two bolts on the bell housing of the transmission, on the upper rear portion. Undo these, and the starter will slide right out the bottom. Then you can bench test it with a 12 volt source. Hope this helps!

I NEED A BELT DIAGRAM

The diagram on a Nissan Altima will be located on the left rear side of the hood; 1995 Nissan Altima uses two drive belts to power the engine accessories.

Print out a diagram of your belt system. If you cannot find it online take a clear picture of the diagram under your hood and print the picture out (click image for zoom)...

Rattling sound in my engine

The "rattling sound" could be a number of things, but if the sound is coming from the upper part of your engine, it is most likey valve train noise. Removal of the valve cover for an inspection would be needed to determine. Make sure your oil level is full and you have the correct grade of oil in your engine. ...i hope this helps.

My brake lights are staying on and drained my

the fact that you have lights means your fuse is good-lights all the time means your brake switch (located above the brake petal) is hung up or stuck. You need to get down low enough to see it, under the dash and immediately above the brake petal-as you push the petal with your hand, you will see it attached to the brake linkage-for some reason, it is always 'closed' which causes the lights to stay on, even with the key off (safety reasons, this circuit is always hot). you should be able to 'unstick' it by manipulating it, or you can spray a light coating of wd40 on the assembly to sree it up. Worst case, you will need to replace it, the usually run under $20.
