Hi there,
An orange warning light which is a picture of an engine = Engine Check Light. Most commonly known as the Malfunction Warning Light (MIL).
If this light illuminates while driving, it means your engine computer has detected a malfunction somewhere within the vehicle's electronics. The computer monitors hundreds of components & circuits. Some of these are critical in nature.
For this reason, it's important you make arrangements to have an authorised Toyota service agent (or Auto Electrician) scan your vehicle's computer for diagnostic codes. This process takes only 15mins or so. If you have an Autozone nearby, they sometimes do this for free, otherwise find a service agent who can do this check for you, at little cost.

Some key fobs are coded and if this is so you will need to take it to your Nissan dealer with all details of the vehicle i.e. Log book/title and vin number proof of ownership. There may be a small charge for this.

Go to Autozone.com and register your vehicle and get a free wiring diagram and powerbox layout. Although it sounds like you have some info.Sounds like something dependent on the injector circuit is smoked. A bad relay, a bad fuelpump, find out which connects through the injector loop that is not connected when the injectors are out. You should be able to trace it back.I mentioned the fuelpump because it coasts until the injectors dump fuel into the engine and runs only shortly until the pressure regulator signals a need to kick in again. Perhaps a fuel pressure regulator?Would be interested in what you find.
