this is most likely a throttle body issue. accelerator pedal has position sensors on it but these trucks had some issues with the electric throttle body and harness plugging into it

Easiest way is to locate the chime and remove or snip one of the wires going to it. Voila - no more sound! Use electric tape to cover the wire you removed.

I'd bring it back to the shop that put in the throttle body and have them check to see if the replacement was defective or failed. If not, you may have a bad throttle position sensor [part of the gas pedal] I'm assuming it worked fine for a while after the repairs with no problems then suddenly started acting up again. I've replaced a bunch of throttle bodies but only one position sensor so far. There's always the chance that there's a bad wire somplace or some other more exotic problem but I'll bet you'll find it at either the sensor or throttle body. Good luck, hope this helps!

check the brake caliper if its disc brakes. the caliper maybe seized in the on position. check to see if the sliders are seized. most of the time the calipers are seized and need replacing.

Vary low should never make no start conduition. Sounds like you have a muility meter to ask for voltages . Try this disconnect the negitive from the battery .Set the meter on the 20 volt DC scale .Go red lead to posivite and black to engine block or any known solid ground .If you read voltage something is shorting If the voltage 2 -3 volts it could be switches lights ect .If its 5 volts or over then its something that draws a lot of power like a bad motor . At any rate if you read voltage pos to gr with gr disconnect from bat their is a short . You can try pulling fuses 1 at a time to see when it stops .This will tell you what circuit the problem is on and sometimes the starting motor will short interinaly this will kill the bat fast

Probably so. Look at the clip. If you cant't get it with your finger, use a small screwdriver. Most clips push in towards the component/speakers. Unless it is a Japanese made car. Push it in as you pull on the speaker. Work your way around it. It will come out.

oil pump is internal, may be more than the average Joe can handle...

not sure but if you don't hear fuel pump with key on have someone crank key while you pound on bottom center of gas tank that usually makes pump start so you can get it in to change fuelpump

Chev dashboard of this vintage are aweful for needing rebuilt. The tach quits and then the fuel guage and then the speedo......

If I remember correctly, There's a blower motor resister that should be mounted in close proximity to the blower motor.

they are dual filament bulbs so the tail light filament might have blown and not the stop light , replace the bulb to check
