2005 grand am will not run in reverse

Your neutral safety switch needs replaced. When in reverse it must be shorting the ignition. murf427

Cigarett lighter fuse

That fuse is located in the fuse panel under the hood of the vehicle on the drivers side near the battery. Below is a diagram of the fuse layout and I have marked the fuse you are wanting to check (#34). Hope this helps.......7_17_2012_10_26_03_am.jpg

My car wont start but the headlights work and the alternator and cylinoid is good

Could be the neutral safety switch, a bad connection at the battery, or a problem with the key switch or solenoid.You might be able to jump it at the starter to see if the starter is ok.

How do you put transmition fluid in a 2005 pontiac grand am

If its an automatic, usually there is a dipstick on the drivers side of the engine. You pour the fluid in there.

The thermostat is on the top hose you have to take the exhaust crossover pipe off to remove it with ease it should the average person at least two hours to change

My volume on my radio in my 2005 grand am, wont turn up and the lights on my radio have went out..

you have a bad circuit board in the unit. need to replace unit. before you do make sure the radio memory fuse is not blown.

What is the color wire the turn of the sterio went

Sound like you are looking for a "hot" wire (which are usually red) when the ignition is off, so you can still run your stereo. If this is the case, you should look at the wiring diagram for your vehicle to find a always hot wire. These come from the fuse box under the dash. Problem with doing this is that you can run your battery down when the car is off and leaving the radio on for too long. Most radio's have a red power wire coming from the dash, specifically for the radio, which has power when the key is turned to the "Accessory" position. Connecting to this will solve your problem.
