So the fuel injection systems JET inlet pin should be faulty .
I NEED TO RECHARGE MY
If it is 1995 or newer you can do it.If it is pre-1995,it has to be done by a shop. You need R-134a freon. There is an aluminum line that basically goes around the engine near the top.It has 2 plastic caps. The cap nearest the belt system is the fill side, remove the cap.If you try to fill the wrong side,it will not hurt the system,it just will not accept the freon. With the engine running and the a/c on,fill the line at one quarter can intervals then check the a/c.Once it is cold enough stop because overpressurizing the system can cause big damage. If it becomes warm again in a short time, say a couple of days to a week, there is probably a leak somewhere and will need to be checked out. Good luck! Greg
Engine system service required
You need to attach an automotive scanner to the car to decode what service is needed. You can of course do this at the dealer for big bucks, but a local parts store such as Pep Boys or Advance Auto will often do it for free.
Will not start dash reeds key error
V50 2005 and similar year have this problem.
The ignition key has two parts:
- remote control (with battery)
- RFID identification (without battery)
Car has two separate locks.
The upper lock is where you put the key inside and turn to ignite.
The lower lock is right at the steering wheel which electronically locks the wheel.
The "upper lock" sometimes refuses to recognize the key. It might be a bad contact or bad mechanical placement. Typical problem for this car.
Try hitting the dashboard and the lock with your fist few times (not too much!). If there was only a bad contact, the car may start a few times.
If you have dropped the ignition key from 1m of height (or higher) to the concrete, the RFID module inside may not have survived. Try with spare key.
If nothing helps, take the car to the volvo shop to change the upper lock. That was my case...
The lock looks like this:

I had new Michelin 205
If the vehicle was serviced at regular factory specified intervals the tires should have been rotated on a normal basis. If this is the fact the service technician certainly should have noticed any irregular wear pattern developing from misaliglnment before it got to be an issue. Even though the tread life warranty of the michelins may be 60,000 you must provide proof of tire rotation and they will not warranty a tire for wear due to misalignment. Try talking to your servicing dealers manager and explain the situation to him he may be able to discount the tires for you.
