Hi...my car idles smoothly when cold, then when it gets warmed up it idles very low and i also notice my fuel consumption in the mornings after cold start is much more than when i drive the same dista

The idle is generally higher along w the fuel consumption when cold. Poss coolant sensor,, all sensors work together to adjust idle & adjust air/fuel mixture. A bad thermos would give u other symptoms too, {bad heating/ AC) Good luck scan it 1st & have all the SENSORS READING READ & ck for codes.

Determining if my 2005 yaris is a 3dr or 5dr

the Toyotas have on the flexy hose connecting the throttle body and the air filter the hot wire air flow meter. Just remove the connecting plug, unscrew the two screws and pull it off. On turning it you should see deeper the hot wire element which when is dirty cuts out the power of the engine on acceleration and causing it to like a donkey. The only thing you have to do is just remove the "O" ring on the outer side and by using a carburator cleaner spray on the hot wire well to wash it and let it dry on its own. Fit the "O" ring and screw it back on the flex hose and drive it.

Can anyone tell me where the oxygen sensor is located on a 2005 toyota yaris,1.3 2nzfe engine. i have checked the exhaust pipe all the way down to the tail pipe and have not seen any connections. than

If it is without Oxygen sensors, then it must be having Idle Mixture Adjustment near the air filter box. It is a variable with hole like adjustment and printed L (lean) and R (rich) on it.

How do i deactivate srs so i can replace front seatbelts on 2005 yaris

Disconnect the battery negative terminal. 1. Wait at least 90 seconds after the ignition switch is turned off and the negative (-) terminal cable is disconnected from the battery before starting the operation. (The SRS is equipped with a back-up power source, so if work is started within 90 seconds of disconnecting the negative (-) terminal cable of the battery, the SRS may be deployed). 2. Do not directly expose the steering pad, front passenger airbag assembly, center airbag sensor assembly, front airbag sensor, front seat inner belt assembly, seat position sensor, occupant classification ECU, front seat side airbag assembly, side airbag sensor, curtain shield airbag assembly, rear airbag sensor or front seat outer belt assembly to hot air or flames.
