Is it harder than normal to remove the gas cap? If so , it's bad cap. When driving it will create a vacuum pressure in your tank and if that pressure cant be purged then it will not let the fuel move. Now if you remove the gas cap and then put it back on and the car does start replace the gas cap

I don't think you can bypass a knock sensor it will not help your cars ecm to calculate the knocks for better fuel mixture,you can remove the intake manifold and replace the sensor,the 3.3l engines takes one sensor only make sure to use origenal part or a dorman product not a chinees part,good luck.

Hello, So--there are several things I am thinking here. On some vehicles there is a brake module that causes the tail and brake lights to go out. On my 99 cougar they had to bypass this module because the modules kept going out. Next--the tail, brake, and plate lights are all on the same wires with the same ground much like on a trailer. If you have a bad ground, if you have a wire that has rubbed off the wire sheath and is touching a ground then this will cause your problem (closed circuit). Test light, time--. Bulbs? What have you checked ? Is the pump getting power from the relay ?
