How to open zetec bonnet with a broken pull lever
From the bottom. Few times have I seen it broke at the latch. Reach up and cut the cable in half( as far as you can away from the latch). Then cut a couple inches of the cable sheathing of at the latch side. expose the cable, then pull the cable to open. If it did break at the latch, then you'll need a long pick(right angle or hook). You'll have to reach up in the latch to grab the arm to release the bonnet.
Where will i find the engine number
not sure try looking on a alldata book but when i built engines in ford of dagenham in 1971 they were stamped on the top hole where the starter motor went ,the fixing bolt .

If there is oil mist/ dust evident on the cover, it is best to replace the belt, oil seals ,hydraulic adjuster and idler pulleys as the oily dust indicates a leak that will quickly destroy a timing belt
Oil leak top back engine near side
Use paper towel or tissue. If not degraded (too old) it will be pink color For Automatic transmission. Brown to almost clear if recent oil change. Dark brown if Standard transmission. But if it's top, most likely Engine oil. Check for drips on the floor too.
Coolant loss
Do a cooling system pressure check.
Check spark plugs for water.
Do an engine compression check.
All in the above order.
MY key fob is not working, I think it may need a new chip, i have tried a new battery, how much will it cost to have it re programmed to my car?
first do you have the master red fob,?? you will need it to reprogram your other fobs,try this with the red fob attach to key, turn ign on and off 10 times do not start vechile,with in 20 seconds try the black fob, do the same thing, now try to start with blk fob,,
