YES, BY THE TIME HEAD IS CHECKED, MACHINE SHOP CHARGES ,PARTS AND LABOR ITS PRETTY PRICEY WHEN THE HEAD STARTS LEAKING IT IS USALLY A CRACKED OR WARPED HEAD.OVERHEATING IS THE PRIMARY CAUSE. REMEBER CAUSE AND EFFECT.. IF YOU DONT REPAIR THE CAUSE YOU WILL HAVE THE SAME EFFECT AGAIN.

Check your fuel pump pressure. You should be above 50 psi. With the gauge hooked up, run the car, and see if the pressure drops. That would be the first step

those are the hazzard lights. you put those on for emergencies. find the button on the dash or the steering column with a triangle on it and press it to turn them off

you need a scan tool with the capability to do reprograming of the TCM, transmission control module.

the Body Function Control is linked to the PCM ,so in the short term remove the fuse to save your battery getting ruined , and replace when need to drive obviously, but will need an auto electrician to trace fault , these type of electrical faults can be a nightmare so some one experienced in this field will save you time and money in the long term ,who installed the engine ? take back to them as they may be able to retrace there steps ,might just be a loose connector ,hope this was of help
