Where is the blower motor relay on my 2001bmw 325i? I have the glove box out but don't know which relay it is.
Your BMW uses a blower motor resistor to control the speed. It is located on the passenger side of the heater/ac case near the firewall. If you are laying in the passenger front floor and look to the left and approximately 4 inches from the firewall and 2 inches above the carpet, you should see a connector with five wires. The resistor is held in the heater box by a plastic tab about a inch long. depress the tab downward and remove the blower resistor.
Hi I have a 325i has been running well until recently when driving the car and accelerate the engine shudders why
I am guessing the check engine light is on. Scan it with a code reader ($20). You didn't mention what year your car is but most bmws have a 100,000 mile spark plug life span. If you have a misfire code then swap the ignition coil to a different location. Misfire is on cylinder 1 swap the coil to cylinder 4. If you now have a misfire code on cylinder 4 then replace the faulty coil. If you have lean mixture codes check for large cracks in your intake air boots. The oil separator hose also causes a large vacuum leak along with the more expensive vacuum regulator.
Have a hard fault code P0500
