Question edited for clarity and toss in a few capital letters. Question moved to model category. The first thing to do would be to check the fuses and relays covering those functions. In reality, you need and auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer.

its compass day MK jeeps (the fake jeeps i call em, Mitsubishi) NO CRANK DAY, MK. you dont need any stinking Stealerships (hope ) ever heard of ASE shop, (google , find ASE shop by zip)win the starter is bad. (seems to me, hit proves that) you need to learn how to test a starter on a car if you had hotwired it and seen battery over 10v, (cranked) and starter dead, hot wired, the starter IS BAD.(end saga in 5min work) wow no? to do the hot wire, pull wire pin one off first. and hot wire the solenoid pin ,***** small pin, (protect the TIPM) http://jeepdied.com/no-crank.html this car has no starter relay (it has a huge Transistor now) aka, (solid state relay, bull its a transistor) the electronics module under hood , drives the starter solenoid directly,. so pull the pin, off #1 and not wire it if starter fails to crank engine the starter is bad. battery over 10vdc doing so.. here is the drawing. pin 1 is on right. its just the solenoid, actual. the top right is the TIMP, (electronics module you fear) 622 is gen FIELD wire not switching correctly. (might be battery bad) p0855 , means different things on different cars.. this code. there is no P0855, listed (P08xx are all CVT trans errors) but F855 sub code for ECT means. is your car automatic?, what engine what trans, non stated. F855) 5 VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT SHORTED TO VOLTAGE this is the only 855 sub error, always says shorted, to something F855..... ETC on only matters RUNNING, means throttle valve errors. and limphome mode, (lower engine power, etc) pull the wire top right fast on lug, off solenoid and hot wire the pin 1 to 3. (tiny to giant lug) do not hot wire the.YL-GY wire, yellow-gray ever. pull it first. that is how to test any starter on a car.

if you tilt all parts there, you will see bolts. all seats are bolted to the body , pan. just look, first, and see the operators guide, turn to page for tilting seats. in the rear. for increase cargo. easy no?

it cracked, clogged or fell off. its below the evaporator coil. (in the HVAC assembly in the dash)

Hey all. I had the same issue with my wifes 2010 Compass. I figured it was the same thing as most everyone else, bad mount or torque converter. I saw a post about the rubber stops under the hood and adjusting them didnt really help. I checked the top/side mount, lower front mount and lower rear mount and they were all intact. I figured it might just need a tune up so I decuded to change the oil, 4 spark plugs, and the air filter. One of those worked!! Honestly I think it was the air filter. it was very dirty. I suspect that the car was struggling to get enough air and it was causing the car to shake more than normal. Anyways I hope this helps someone. Good luck!!

its in warranty ,no? new cars , data is hard to get, too new. (come with the deal, go to dealer as them to fix it with a NASA level engineer + ASE certs !!) my online sources has zero compass support. old cars, are simple a brake switch a wire and a lamp. cave man simple. but.. on newer cars, when you step on brakes, the Body computer sends a message to the lamp controllers via the CAN network some times, the BCM goes nuts, who to cure that. can cause NAV and Radio to go nuts for fun. (reset, read the FSM on how to do that) so my answer is , Take it IN. after checking all fuses in both fuse boxes read the operators guide. in the glove box, it covers fuses.

I suspect that the earth wire is not good and the brake lights earth is through the back up lights to earth. Either that or you have crossed the wires some where.

fully charge that battery , the clicking you hear is the starter relay trying to supply power to the starter, with little luck,,, often a battery will seem charged and show 12 volts, but one cell could be dead and that would drop the necessary amps to be delivered to the starter to actually turn the car over. Having the battery LOAD tested will show you right away what shape your battery is in. if it checks out to be bad,, just replace it, I believe thats going to fix your starting problems

Are you check if have some fault code there? I suggest scanned the PCM to know it? Additionally, could be some electrical problem (starter, battery charge, etc.).

Keep in mind that your vehicle is underwarranty, so, before to make some change or replacement part, applied at warranty with your dealer. Its possible that you electric key need to be re-programmed.
