Possibly faulty cooling fan relay... the fan has an override when the A/C comes on. (Wouldn't be a faulty temperature sensor, or the fan would work when overheating.)

I too had the same Problem just after I bought my 2010 connect!! I had not driven it for about 4weeks and when I went out to go somewhere the security system locked up the system!! I had a hard time figuring out what was going on!! Ford told me I would have to have it towed in to the dealer!! I was a lot mad!!! So I unhooked the battery for about 10 minutes and then hooked it back up and it worked just fine!!!! I have had to do that twice sense then and it works for me!! They won't tell you how to fix it without towing it in!!! Like I said it made me a lot mad!!! Because my dealer is 45 miles away for starters!!! Let me know if it works for you!!! Jan in Indiana

The 2010 Transit Connect headlamp assembly can removed by putting a bottle cap under the lamp to push the rubber bumper down out of the way you must have a Very bright penlight and a10 inch quarter inch extension with socket lock and a 10 mm to get the bolts out under there then you have toCut and bend a piece of plumbers strap to fry the Locking strip out and a piece of bent metal to pull off and pull the flapper out to pull the connection loose for the harness. To install new bolts you need to glue the bolt into the socket with some 1099 contact Bond adhesive it's all pretty easy Once you have done it once but it's a pain in the first time

ok did you check for vacuum leaks,is the fuel pressure gooddid you change your air filter,did you check around the intake manifold for vacuum leaks,is the engine missing if it is do a compression test on the cylinder thats missing you may have a burn valve or one that is not seated properly check you cam lobes also if the timing chain makes noise change your chain and tenssioner

Was the old switch tested & bad? Need a wiring diagram to work on windows Can't work on any vehicle problem, until you have the required info & study how the system works, first. Have to test things to find a problem, before you can correct it

Hello that is a built in anti theft device that many cars have . You wll have to have proof of ownership, like registration and go to dealerand they will give you the code. write it down in the manual somewhere when you get it.
