CHECK THE HARNESS BELOW THE PASSENGER SEAT,IF IT LOOKS OKEY REPLACE THE MOTOR,IT STOCK UP

There should be an EPA sticker somewhere in the engine compartment, which will show vacuum line routing, firing order, and spark plug gap. If that sticker is missing, you may need to contact a Lexus dealership, give them your VIN number, and have them provide the information for you.

Could be many things. Sounds like its not firing on all cylinders. Open your hood and run the car after dark, look under hood and look for sparks from your plug wires. Sparks will indicate bad wires. There are many causes for your car to run poorly. It could be a bad coil or plugs ,sticky valves to burnt valves. Bad gas, water in gas, ect. My daughter had a problem that sounds similar, it turned out thatfor her last oil change at Walmart they only added 5qts of oil without draining it first. 1.5 gallons over full of oil caused engine to fight against itself to run. She was lucky it didn't destroy the engine and every gasket in it.

The transmission has two settings controlled by a push button on the shift console, a power and a normal setting, some how it was pushed and set to the power setting, it should be in the norm setting for general driving conditions.

You have a Idle air control valve,but it would not stall you out when you accelerate,A badly plugged airfilter can stall you as you acclerate, A plugged exhaust or catalytic can do this but you would not be able to rev the engine, and you would has power loss on acceleration.The only thing that comes close to what you are experiencing would be the MAF (mass air flow) air duct taking in false air check to see if there is any torn that can cause false air.

There are two drive belts on your truck. One drives the A/C and the other drives the alternator. The routing is so simple that the service manual does not even make mention of it. Sorry, no diagram available.

That's a safety issue and even after repairing a fault, the light has to be actively turned off with a scan tool - trying tricks with the battery won't reset it.

It's not that hard to replace the v belt on the lx450 though you will really need patience. Once you removed everything to clear out the front to replace the v belt. You will need to loosen the idle pulley to let go of the belt. Please check out the diagram I provided for you to know how it will go.

Wouldn't anyone about to work on a timing belt or chain,
obtain a diagram before they started?

There is no way to do that job without it

Try a local repair shop that has Alldata ,they may print
what he needs

The only thing you can try is another antennae.
You also could try it with the engine not running, so see if the alternator is causing static.

about 66 dollars a set.

have to think if sometimes hard and some time mushy chances are its the booster valve possibly problem and dealer may be just covering **** by replacing whole assembly you can replace valve yousely and try it before spending money on entire booster no need to bleed system or any high tech tools needed just remove hose going to booster,remove valve and then reinstall less than $20.00 and if im wrong whats that kinda money wasted?let me know

What year and model lexus?Most have two screws holding rotor to hub and you can remove the screws and bump rotor off.

you replace it, not an owner procedure unless the owner has a shop. buy a replacement pump and pay a local auto repair shop to do it. you do not need to pay dealer shop rates for this .

The fuel filter is attached to the underside of the Intake Manifold. Two bolts with 12mm Heads hold it secure to the Intake manifold and two Banjo Bolts with 17mm heads attach the fuel lines. I found that removing the front left tire and lifting the inspection flaps were a Big Help in getting access.

The reason you can not locate this, is because it is part of the fuel pump module insid ethe fuel tank. No real service is necessary unless you are replacing the fuel pump.
