Unfortunately coding major parts to a car usually involves the dreaded and expensive trip to a dealership to be plugged into there diagnostic system.

I tried the DIY service and repair manuals from a website and it actually helped me repair transmission problem in my ford explorer. it wont move forward or reverse, engine is good both solenoids for forward and reverse work. Bad earth maybe....have you tried a multimeter on the connectors with the ignition on and indicator switch on??

Hi I don't think the lights on the dash board is anything to do with your sticking brake caliper ,it sounds to me like your instrument cluster is faulty Hope this helps Nick

indicates a crank/cam position problem Take it to a service center that works on audi, find the fault and have it fixed

it could be low oil pressure. timing adjuster would make sounds all the time. if oil pressure is low it can make ticking or clicking sounds, and with turbo you need good oil flow.

it is easier to hit it with a welder remove seat from car to ensure you don t start a fire. be sure not to weld the bracket to rail or the seat will not slide.
