Why is it this 2007 yamaha big bear will only start when I have my hand covering the intake tube, and it dies the moment I remove my hand and let it breath. What is going on?

Your hand over the intake is acting to choke the engine. So it sounds like the engine is not getting sufficient gas. Check all fuel delivery sytem parts. Maybe a dirty carb. Clean out with carb cleaner. Change fuel filter.

I have a Yamaha big bear 350 4x4 I put new cv axis on both front still make grinding sound

If the CV Joints are new and correctly inserted, the most likely culprit for the noise would be the brakes. Remove the front wheels and turn the hub.

It could also be the front differential, or failed wheel bearings. Details in the link.

I have a yfm25bw big bear 250 Yamaha it wont start, has a very weak spark, back fires sometimes. I have changed the coil , but still the same ,good it be the cdi unit ?

Most newer engines use an electronic ignition system, if the spark is weak verified at night (in the dark) by removing the spark boot and watching the arc jump onto the engine block, then this could be your problem. Otherwise, you have a carburetor issue which is very common in ATVs. Rebuild it using a complete kit to include a float and throttle spring... replace dog eared screws, if there are any. Ensure you put the keeper clip on the correct groove on the needle valve and be careful when bending the float arm as they break off easily... making them useless.
